Jason Chatoor
With twenty years in the energy sector spanning engineering, operations, commercial, business development and project development & execution, Jason brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the challenges surrounding climate change and the need to decarbonize our energy systems.
Jason started off his career as a Chemical & Process Engineer constructing and commissioning world scale petrochemical plants in Trinidad. He then joined BG (prior to the merger with Shell) changing career paths to focus on commercial business management, commercial operations and negotiations across the natural gas and LNG business before moving to the UK as Global Business Development Manager responsible for the development of natural gas projects in South America and the Middle East, along with being a Subject Matter Expert in commercial operations and commercial dispute resolution.
After several years in the UK, Jason joined bp to lead several commercial and project development workstreams on the company's flagship carbon capture and storage project that incorporates a world scale carbon storage project with carbon capture from several brownfield petrochemical plants in the region and a new blue hydrogen project.
In co-founding Low Carbon Consultants, Jason wants to leverage his commercial, business development and hands-on project execution experience to contribute to the region's low carbon journey.
Jason holds a BSc. in Chemical & Process Engineering, an ACCA Diploma in Financial Management, an MBA and is currently completing an MSc. in Energy Transition Policy.

Susannah Collier-Chatoor
Susannah has over twenty five years legal and senior management experience in the energy and power sectors specializing in low carbon projects including gas & LNG, renewables, hydrogen and CCS. She has lived and worked around the globe in Trinidad, Venezuela, Houston, Nigeria, India and the UK and has delivered a wide range of complex global energy transactions including M&A, new country entry, project development & execution, dispute resolution and project operationalisation. She also has extensive expertise on procurement, corporate governance, regulatory and ESG compliance.
Immediately prior to co-founding Low Carbon Consultants, she was Associate General Counsel at Shell (UK) overseeing all of the legal workstreams associated with the Shell’s New Energies (Carbon Capture, solar, wind, biofuels, distributed energy, e-mobility) and Shell’s LNG Development businesses. She also oversaw the growth (organic and inorganic), project development and operations of Shell’s Integrated Gas, Renewables and Energy Solutions businesses across in the Middle East, Africa, North America and Asia.
She is a member of various UK advisory committees on climate change and has sat on the Board of several international Integrated Energy companies including Shell Energy Retail Ltd., LimeJump Ltd. and Shell New Energies (UK) Ltd.
Susannah holds a LLB degree and an LLM in Commercial Law and is qualified to practice law in England & Wales and the Commonwealth Caribbean.
